This week on The Texas Bucket List we’re sure to bowl a strike, join a rascally club while we grub, and catch new fishing friends in beautiful Texas town on the coast.
We start this weeks travels in Arlington where we pin down the history of bowling and meet some professional bowling coaches who work with Olympic bowlers from around the globe. The International Bowling Museum truly has a little something for everyone, and teaches us the link between the Egyptians, beer, and modern Olympians.
In Lubbock we find it hard not to join the He-Man-Woman-Hater burger club at a restaurant craftily named, Spanky’s. One bite of the He-Man-Woman-Hater burger will have us all singing, ‘I’ve got a burger. I’ve got a burger. Hey, hey, hey!’
We end our travels in Port Mansfield, a friendly fishing community that time forgot. Here we catch a plethora of fish, eat our fresh catch in one of Port Mansfield’s four restaurants, and form new friendships that will last a lifetime.
So don’t go kicking the bucket. We’ve got some Lone Star State treasures in this weeks episode you won’t want to miss.
