Hippity, hoppity this week’s episode of The Texas Bucket List is almost underway! Join us as we hop along the bunny trail to a store in San Antonio supplying all you’re Fiesta and party needs, a hamburger joint serving snow cones and burgers like snow bunny else, and a company that’s been weaving baskets ready to fill with goodies since 1919.
First, we find ourselves in San Antonio where we get into the Fiesta spirit at a party supply store that’s been a source of fun for almost 70 years. Amols’ has it all from paper flowers to sombreros, and you can’t help feeling happy while surrounded by the bright colors and sounds of Fiesta in Amols’.
Next we hop along to a burger joint called Snow Bunny Cones in Bay City. The burgers here are made with a secret seasoning and served with a special blessing. The family running Snow Bunny Cones has a faith that runs deep, and a snow cone recipe with a sour twist you’ll have to see to believe.
We end this week singing a tisket a tasket at the Texas Basket Company where we learn how the pros weave various colors and shapes of wooden baskets. Whether holding eggs, fruit, candy, or wine these baskets are a Texas treasure used to share goodies all over the world.
So, be sure to kick off you’re Easter festivities right by tuning into this week’s episode of The Texas Bucket List.
