Host Shane McAuliffe will travel seaside to visit a spectacular building with some history, dines down in Houston, and checks out a place serving pies that you won’t soon forget.

First, Shane goes out to Galveston to see the grandest building on the island: Bishop’s Palace.

Next, he grubs on delicious dining options at Brasserie 1895 in Friendswood.

Finally, Shane will travel to the small town of Hutto to check out The Texan Cafe and Pie Shop where it’s all about home cooking and mouth-watering pie.

This Weekend on The Texas Bucket List – Monahans Sandhills State Park, Chuck’s Country Smoke House, and Wimberley Glassworks

This week on The Texas Bucket List some sandy, savory and art filled stops!

First, Shane drops over to the dunes at the Monahans Sandhills State Park in Monahans. This park will have you slipping and sliding in a unique way, down sand dunes.

Next, he stopped in to Chuck’s Country Smoke House in Carthage. With signature dishes such as the Susie Q and the Frito Bomb, this barbecue joint is a must for anyone with a savory palate.

Finally, Shane gets blown away by an incredible story and even more breathtaking glass at Wimberley Glassworks in Wimberley.

This week on The Texas Bucket List – Jackson Brothers Meat Locker, Cattleman’s Steakhouse, J Lorraine Ghost Town

This week on The Texas Bucket List,  Shane makes a tasty stop at Jackson Brother’s Meat Locker in Post. Their exceptional beef jerky will satisfy any meat lover’s cravings.

Next, he will indulge in the unique sights and tastes of Cattleman’s Steakhouse in Fabens. With a zoo, a beautiful view, and savory steaks, you won’t want to miss this stop.

Finally, Shane will explore the J. Lorraine Ghost Town in Manor. Created by one man with the purpose of people coming to have fun, the J. Lorraine Ghost Town is a must stop.

Next, he grubs on turkey legs with a twist at Turkey Leg Hut in Houston. These turkey legs with a variety of stuffings will have you gobbling for more.

Finally, Shane checks out what it would be like to relax under a starry sky at Basecamp Terlingua in Terlingua. From tee pees to bubbles that you can sleep in, Basecamp Terlingua truly has it all.

Season 12 of The Texas Bucket List Kicks Off February 9th

The 2018 Lone Star Emmy Award winning television series The Texas Bucket List is is hitting the road for its 12th season and our one job, to showcase the best eats, interesting folks, and true Texas experiences around the great Lone Star State!

The adventure will begin on February 9th with three new stops including a new segment called Lone Star Legends. This segment will kick off with Texas Music Artist Pat Green at his art gallery in Fort Worth.  

In addition, Season 12 will include a continuation of the Bite of the Week segment which highlights the best unique bites around the state.

The Texas Bucket List Season 12 Episode 1 Preview – Washington’s Birthday Celebration in Laredo, Cerviche Cerviche on South Padre Island, and Galleywinter Gallery in Fort Worth

On the first episode of Season 12, Host Shane McAuliffe makes three exciting stops and introduces a new segment called Lone Star Legends.

First, Shane will celebrate past President George Washington’s birthday in Laredo at a unique and heartwarming festival.

Next, he will try some cerviche at a restaurant named after their signature dish: Cerviche Cerviche on South Padre Island.

Finally, Shane will meet Lone Star Legend Pat Green at Galleywinter Gallery in Fort Worth to discuss one of Pat’s passions, creating art.

Next, Shane will travel back home to the Bryan/College Station area to get a taste of delicious Tex-Mex at Jesse’s Taqueria in Bryan. The only thing better than indulging in Jesse’s incredible food may be meeting Jesse himself and hearing his incredible story of triumph.

Finally, Shane learns incredible facts about World War II while visiting the National Pacific War Museum in Fredericksburg. This museum in Central Texas contains historically-significant exhibits that hold a deep place in our American history.

The Texas Bucket List – This Weekend on TBL Fort Chadbourne in Coke County, Antonini’s Subs in Webster, and Janie’s Record Store in San Antonio

On this episode host Shane McAuliffe will dive deep into Texas history, take a bite out of one of his long-time favorite subs, and catch the music bug at a record store.

First, we will take a visit to Fort Chadbourne in Coke County to catch a glimpse of history through the many intriguing artifacts found there. We also get to talk to the man who is keeping the Fort alive.

Next, we will travel to Antonini’s Subs in Webster for an out of this world sub. This spot has been a frequent favorite of Shane’s for twenty years, making this stop well worth a spot on The Texas Bucket List.

Finally, we will rock out at Janie’s Record Store in San Antonio with Janie, who is in her 90’s. The fast pace of advancing technology hasn’t shaken this musical gem.
