We stop in Nacogdoches at a house that was the gateway through Texas in the early part of the 19^th century. Built by Adolphus Sterne in 1830, the Sterne-Hoya House has served as a crossroads for many a famous Texan. Well worth a stop on The Texas Bucket List!
