Peach pickin’, a big burger, and classic cars – it’s almost like we’ve stepped back in time on this episode of The Texas Bucket List!
With summer in the breeze here in Texas, nothing tastes better than a big ole’ sweet and juicy peach that you can sink your teeth into! At the Jenschke Orchards in Fredericksburg, you can pick your own peck of peaches to make the perfect pie or cobbler or just to have some outdoor fun.
For a little more hearty grub and to hear a heartfelt tale, we stop in at Stanton’s City Bites in Houston to meet the owner and try the Cowboy Brunch Burger. You’ll need a big belly and a big bite to take care of this beef patty!
After that we settle down for a serenade from Sarah Green singing “God’s Plan.”
Next, we’re throwing it back to hang out with some of the hottest wheels from back in the day at Dick’s Classic Garage in San Marcos. From Tucker to Duesenberg, they’ve got every vehicle you can imagine from 1901 to 1959.
