After chowing down on several burgers during our Spring 2016 season, it’s time to crown our favorite. Now every single burger we featured is well worth a stop on The Texas Bucket List but the following made our top 5. (Click on links for video)
You can find Burger #5 on our Burger of the Season in Tyler and Longview. Jucys served up with the Cowboy Burger. With a plethora of sauces it’s a sloppy but sensational bonanza of a burger. And #4 goes to one best plain ol’ burgers we’ve ever had thanks to lots of history and two lovely ladies. The Stanton Drug and Grill near Midland makes the list!

Burger #3 went to a fiery concoction in Fort Worth. Fred’s Texas Cafe makes an amazing burger topped with chipotle butter! It stings the nostrils and ravishes your taste buds!

Our first runner up is a cheesy gooey greasy burger that is just bursting with loud flavor. Over in Carlos, just southeast of Bryan/College Station we rode into Yankee’s Tavern for a Wide Glide!

And our top spot went to Stanton’s City Bites in Houston. Texas toast, a fried egg, fried pickles, and an amazing story.
