We head out to the Odessa Meteor Crater, the third largest meteor crater in the United States. Even though it’s been thousands of years since that ball of fire banged into the Permian Basin, the sands of time have quite literally been unforgiving to the crater, filling the hole back up with sand, sediment, and soil.
